These are my wild Collections they are a mix from 2 Cuipeau, 3 Japatu's from Mark's, 2 Cameta's 1 Santarem, 1 Uatuma from John's . They are all doing really well, feeding tetra color's pellet's (breakfast) and Al's FDBW soak in vita- chem and green spirulina water and every once in a while as treat live adult brine shrimp or Mysis enhance in spirulina green water.

Nice Julian, some nice color on these guys. Love how they are attacking the FDBWs.
Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
Nice collection you got there,
Love to see a full tank shot... Whats the size...any details on the filtration
Cheers,
Fred
These look really nice. This must be the same tank, the 150g acrylic that you posted about back in August. I like the background and I'm thinking of doing something similar outside the tank. Are the cardinals still alive?
Really nice wilds, the orange one are mixture of cuipea and cametas? What are tank measurments, water parameters, wc regime, filtration?

Here are a couple of pics, the tank is a 150 gallons tall 48"X 30"X 24". I use a Herbie, filtration with a 40 gallon.
You can see more details in my post on tank and equipment filtration back in August.
You are actually right is the same tank, The Cardinals are disappearing one by one . I can't find any dead or anything I suspect they are becoming snacks from these guys, although they grow and color I only have 10 from 24.
The rams are also eating way too much they can't stop eating and are not afraid of the Discus during feeding I lost a couple due to constipation.
A 150gal tall 48X30x24 with photos plants floating in the tank and on the 40gallon aquarium sump they are doing an excellent job keeping my nitrates low, We change the water every three days approximate 50 gallons, I set my water to TDS 70 a mix of RO and a tap water. my ph is about 7.0 , however the tank TDS is around 100 ~120 cause I made the mistake of adding National Geographic sand to my silica pool filter sand.
At this time I am not rushing in change it, They are thriving on it and picking colors the Japatus starting to show their lines . I put spirulina and vitachem on my FDBW when I soak them always These guys are relative young I want them to grow more, I will use pretty much Pat's parameters for wild when I decide to breed, beside my drift wood is not ready yet working on curing still.
The Cametas are pure Cametas from John's Snook 21 , they just happen to be smaller about 4.5" and like the Tetra pellets a lot more than the others therefore color really nice.
The Cuipeau are from Mark's and they are slightly bigger about 5.0" and they tend to be a more clean and round fish per say just IMO.
