How did you pick your User Name?

I'm hoping this becomes a very popular thread for a long time, because I'm really curious where some on your users names came from and why. Okay, some of the names are obvious, but the why not so much...if you're willing to say.

Some of the users names are ingenious, but sometimes we just don't get it. I know I've PMed one user because I knew the name meant something, but I just didn't get it.

Obviously I'm starting, it's my thread. The first of the half dozen forums I belonged to was for my favorite place on earth, Cozumel, Mexico. There is no bad margarita in Cozumel, some are just better than others. I digress. So anyway several people use Cozy whatever in front of their name, so I followed suit. I'm getting to old to remember multiple users names, so CozyKeith, her I am.

So any way, how did you pick your user name?

I Got my user name from this addiction. I tried selling off my fish room (60+tanks), selling all my best pairs of fishes, I tried moving, (moved from CA to WI), na ah..nope, "icantquit" this darn fish hobby...thats how i came about this user name.. "icantquit"

I wanted the user name 'DiscusMama' because my discus are my babies... Like really I'd cry if one died.... But that name was freaking taken at the time... So for some reason I put socal in front of it. At the time I was just anxious to log on the forum and post something and only afterward did I realize how dumb it sounds lol! I wonder if the DiscusMama user even uses their name anymore!.... I want it....

Well mine is after a lot of thought.It is after my first guitar which I still have,I've always had a passion for fish and music.One name I've gone under was tied to the band Thin Lizzy,once again music related,but this was more me.Even thought,looking, to get a SG themed tattoo on my forearm.Big step for me because when I got my first tattoo,I wore a short sleeve shirt and told the artist ,yes artist,to make sure it was above the sleeve line.In the last two years have pursued my passion for guitars and fish with no regrets.As long as my wife lets me.

Well before getting into Discus, my passion for altum angels became a reality after getting a group of 6 in 2006. Joined an angel fish forum TASG- FINARAMA and needed a name/avatar. AltumNut appeared suitable.

I'm from Louisiana and have Cajun heritage, and I also went to college at Texas A&M. Not a whole lot of Louisianians go to Texas A&M (most go to LSU or ULL, obviously), so I figured it'd be a unique name. Working on the avatar pic!
