Default 100 Gal Planted Discus.... First Cut

    Well, here it is.
My first discus tank as well as planted tank.
all comments and concerns are welcome.
    currently i have:
    100 Gal Oceanic
    2217 eheim canister
    4 t5 HO lighting 216 watt total, 2-10k 2-67k
About 20 plants mostly swords, java moss/fern couple others
    2 300 watt heaters
    diy co2 with diffusor
    substrate fertilizer

9 Discus (looking for another 2-5)
    4 yoyo loachs
    2 bolivian rams
    1 red tail shark

Im feeding a variety of foods from flake, to live white worm (from my own culture), bloodworms and im trying to get them to eat Beefheart but its not working out.

ive built this entire setup for under $500, buying almost everything second hand besides filter and heaters. some discus even for free or with trades from my past africans

excuse the video i have a 100 year old camera

Lovely set up and Discus , well done ! i think most of forumers would advice u to remove sharks and maybe yoyo loaches tho' , they are robust fish that gets to food b4 discus and stress them a lot with their constant movement , also red tail sharks might get agressive as they grow

Nice sized aquarium plants look like there doing well i would put some floating plants in and maybe some roots at surface.
