Yes, Mount Pleasant is in MI. They will eat anything I offer them. They have been raised on a wide variety of foods. Beef heart, flakes, granules, homemade mix, frozen blood worms, etc. I keep the temperature at 85.0 f. Ph is around 7.5

Do you plan on adding the Discus to a tank with other fish?

yes nickb i do, i have some two rams, cardinal tetras, black tetras, and some platys in my 75 gallon

Just remember other fish that seem perfectly fine can carry things that will immediately attack Discus when you add them to a tank . I made that mistake when i got my first group and they alll got sick.

You will just have to make sure you do a strict quarantine process. Or its a pricey risk.

Its not a fish that will attack the Discus, its what bacteria or disease that the other fish might be is carrying.
