Looks really comfortable, Keith, and a red wine atmosphere for sure. Love it, and I'm sure it will look great!
The last portion of wall is finally done in the fishcave along with the steel beam being enclosed. There's a new grow out tank in place just waiting for water and real fish.
Hmm, that picture seems to indicate it was a red wine night when these pictures were taken.
Told you it was waiting for real fish. I almost added a spawning cone between the two of them, but it was a fleeting thought.
Oh, and the background I bought for the tank is on the backside of the one that is showing that my wife greatly preferred.

Lucky guy! Everbody should have a "fishcave"!
Nice Keith and looks very comfee...cute fish in the new tank.
LOL love the fish cave rules!!! Hey Kieth is that stone on the left a Dino Poo rock?
Thanks all, maybe some day I'll get to try it. It certainly looks comfy, but no surprise 99% of the time I'm down there I'm working on tanks. I did watch every Packer post season game down there, but most of those were during WCs too.
Dino Poo rock Bill, I think not. Remember I'm an accountant by trade. What accountant is going to pay those kind of prices for hard fertilizer? I don't honestly know for sure what it is, but I believe it's quartz. Has a nice pink color to it, and discus from time to time have decided the angle is good for laying eggs on. It's awfully tough to see eggs on it though when they lay on it. Just a nice decorative rock for a grow out tank that in a pinch makes a good first spawning site.

My fish.....I like to keep 'em in water
the cave has come along well keith!
Jay,
the reason i like discus?... is discus seem to like me.
No, that one was a wedding gift that I really wonder if it was a regift. Red, white and blue in the winter just doesn't seem right. On the other hand, I do have an afghan my mother made and another my oldest sister made and I cherish them both. I know exactly how much time and effort goes into those things.
Dang, I just looked to see where you were from. I wouldn't have thought a Canuck would have made light of a blanket of any kind.
Yea, I just need to decide what if anything I'm going to do for a ceiling.
