Default Plant supplements + fertilizers: Which ones don't increase TDS

Hi - I am starting a wild discus planted tank. My TDS increased after adding Plant supplements (iron, etc). Despite my research, I remain confused about how to enhance plant growth without increasing TDS.

Can this forum suggest whether and/or what supplements (CO2, elements, fertilizers etc) should I use to keep TDS low?

I have a tank holding a few low light plants waiting for another larger set up I use aquacare tds is around 310 tds. starts at around 275 tap. That is low light setup.
I had 2 90 gallon high tech planted and I used pmdd ferts and a few other home made ferts and I don't remember tds exactly but I think it was around 350. Most low light setups do not need ferts fish will fertilize just fine unless you change too much water daily.
Using fertilizers with discus is imo a very fine balancing act that is very hard to balance for both parties, but some have the touch!

Cool Re: Plant supplements + fertilizers: Which ones don't increase TDS

This may not go over well with a lot of people. I have had planted tanks for over 16 yrs. I use plant tabs , I also use ro water and once in awhile I may use a little topical master grow{ not sure of its new name}. I have very little algae if any and I do have co2. Just my 2 cents Thanks Ed
