Vera's wilds

Just got 5 wilds from my trip to Austria , 4 are Alenquers red royals /semi royals and 1 Manacapuru red , at the moment they look anything but red , hope they color up later on
1 is still laying on his side since arrival and very dark , hope he can pull it through

wanted to get solid body reds , but they didnt have at that time so i got these , i bought them from place called Bad Voslau and Manacapuru from Vienna huge shop filled with all possible types of tropical fish , they had 5 tanks filled with wilds - Heaven

I remember when I used to bring fish home from far away places in my carry on; then the post 9-11 airline rules of 3 ounces of water ruined that....Perhaps ph shift regarding the one on the bottom?...Gary

same in Europe , u cant take it on the plane as hand laggage , so i had to give it with other suit case in to laggage compartment of the plane , when i opened the box the temperature of their water with heat packs inside was still 27 C
dont know whats with this fella could be stress could b bloat (maybe was fed prior packing)..

Wow glad to see you finally got some more fish, I know last time I you sent a PM sounded like you were really missing yours. They look really nice for just getting them can't wait to see them once they get their colors back. Really sorry to hear about the one, I got fish one time and they all were laying on their sides for 3 days but finally got up and were fine within a couple weeks, the water was really cold when they arrived, that's why I only get fish from Kenny now. they are my first here in Ukraine , havent had fishes for some time and was getting really frustrated ,
3 days u say yrs were on their side , hmm guess there is a hope for my ltl guy , he does get up and try to keep his balance , but then back to figure 1
atm tempted to try Epsom salt , other meds would prefer to stay away from

Glad you finally got some wilds Vera. Wild are so much stronger, I think your lil guy will be fine after awhile. Salt would be fine, but wise not to use any meds this early. All the best...Bill
