Thought I would post an update. Everyone seems to be doing well. It is hard for me to tell if they have grown or not, sometimes it seems like they have and sometimes it's like we're standing still. I have been feeding them mostly pellets(Tetra bits and Hikari Marine S) with some of Al's FD Black Worms thrown in. I have been doing 40% wc every other day or so. It is funny because for bottom feeders, they sure do go after food floating on the surface.

Geos aren't really bottom-feeders, strictly speaking. They do sift sand which is how they find food in the wild, but they will eat food out of the water column and from the surface. Especially if they were born and raised in a tank where they know their food comes from above.

Ah Ok that makes sense. They certainly have that down. And they know how to beg to get you to give them more

Nice. I hope mine hand feed within next few days.
They do love digging: have you thought of getting some sand as a substrate?

Thanks. Yes, I have been wanting to get them some sand. I am trying to grow them out first a bit, make cleaning easier. When I set up the 125 I plan on putting sand in. Just not sure when I am going to do that yet. The hand feeding I have just started doing. They are still getting used to it.
