Great video and pics!! You lucky devil you! I look forward to seeing updates great looking heckels
Just one thing I did notice... It looked like the water was a bit turbulent for them... It may just be the way it looks on the video though I could be wrong :P

Just be yourself. The people who matter, won't mind.
And the people who mind, won't matter.
the power head blows food all over the place, so that every fish has their chance to eat, less fight during feeding time
That's quite a current you have in that tank! lol.
The discus look good, though. Do you find they hang out in the slower-moving areas of the tank?
Hi Kevin......those Heckels are doing great with yr TLC.......I had the pleasure of seeing the discus at his place.....what are you feeding those guys these days?

For what it's worth, I have a couple of deep tanks, 30" depth, and I've found large airstones with a good air pump works much better than powerheads, and I've tried them all, even Koralias. Greatly increases oxygen saturation as well, very important when running 80F plus temps.

There's something else powerheads does, but air pump doesn't though
What are tank measurments and water parameters? Whats your filtration and wc regime? Do you feed anything else than mysis, blood worms and flakes? How many heckels are in that tank. I am also considering buying young heckels. What size are they, 10-12 cm?
Good looking tank of discus! I have always wanted a tank like that, kind of a room divider where you can see in all 4 sides of it. Hope they grow big!
