Ive been feeding them BBS and CBWs. I need to get them started on something else soon. But MAAAAN to they love the live foods! Lol
It's pretty cool to plop some worms in the tank and watch so many little baby discus attack and act like such savages! LOL

I think your babies look fantastic. I use PP at this stage. 3 times once every other day. @4weeks,8weeks,12weeks. GREAT job.

I think I may try the PP thing as well, Thanks for the info and the compliment! I like that Using PP isn't like medicating them with something, it just cleans things up externally

I'm really excited to see this group grow so well despite parasite issues I'm working on eradicating. I hope in a few months I'll be posting update pictures of them lookin good and growing well! I'm working hard to keep them healthy... I am SOOOO glad we don't pay the water bill in this apartment! Lmao

The first picture is of the biggest one in the group! He's a PIG and you can already see some pattern emerging in their fins!

I only culled one about a week ago. It was the first time I've ever culled a fish!lol i saw some flicking and odd behavior on occassion in the group and suspected flukes so i used the runt to verify my suspisions. I went with a sharp knife and made it quick. It was the runt and was significantly smaller than the rest. It's fins were a bit short too... took a look under my old trusty microscope and sure enough! They had a fluke problem. But it's being handled and they don't seem phased by the medication I used. Wonderful appetites and fast growers in this group.
There are a number with "broken bars" which some people may consider a cullable offense lol but I don't. I think the ones with crazy bars are so unique and cute.
