Hello Friends,

Thought I would share my progress 9 months into my planted/discus tank.

Here you will see my Tropical Red discus, Altum Flora and Albino Eruption Leopard F1.

They are about a year old now and starting to pair up.

How do you keep the tank clean (poop, beefheart, etc.)?

Good filtration - Fluval 405 and an AquaClear 110. The rest, weekly water changes and a good cleaning crew.

Thank you for the comments. The plants all had a place, but with them growing and the discus growing, I had to thin out the tall plants.

Sweet set up. Are you going to put any of your pennang erruptions in there at any stage?

I hope to go bigger with a possible 150 tank and then I hope to add the eruptions. I do have a 90 gallon now that I am looking to add some wilds.
