Its hard to let a really good sale on discus go unnoticed. Mike Beals (Central Ohio Discus) always has some great fish but he recently put some on sale. When I saw the Ricky Lim Altum Carnations and Altum SS I knew they would really look good in one of my tanks. Ricky Lim's Altum SS was the Duisburg Grand Champion. I bought 3 carnation and 3 SS and they arrived today. They are about 4" and I think have a lot of promise. I hope to get a carnation x SS pair out of them when they are grown out. Here they are after only being in the tank about 3 hours.

3 of us ordered together to save on shipping and I picked them up from the airport today. When everyone arrived to get their fish there were 3 adults and 4 kids in the fishroom. They were like this the entire time. Up in front, not shy at all.

Ricky is also well known for his red discus too.

Yes, those are very nice fish. Definitely great lineage pedigree of fish from Ricky.
