    Default The New 75 Gallon is up!

    My fish needed some room! so i got them a new home!!

    2 BD
    1 RTurq
    1 BTurq
    5 LSS

    there were a little stressed after the move.. they are settling in now

    actually a hs buddy wants to buy one of the two that i have.. i don't really like 55g.. so i will get rid of them.. i like DEEP tanks.. 18".. i would probably get 40g or 60g if i need.. but i have 2 other 75g that need to clean out and reinforce the cross bar..

    but i don't want all these tanks up in apartment

    Just have your apartment covered with tanks. It could provide shielding if there is a radiological event :P

    ha! i am trying to scale back a little.. hence the 75g.. i needed to consolidate some of my larger growouts.. getting 10 1" fish is great.. but 8 months later!! they are HUGE!

    Looking good Skip, first tank in the new digs? You did reinforce the flooring of the mobile home prior to filling the tank I hope.

    i have actually have it sitting on dirt outside, since GOD HATE MOBILE HOMES in Texas!! i dont' want the tank tore up in a Tornado

    For us non Spanish speakers..The english translation for "claro que si" is "yes indeed" or "yes of course".

    and yup, mobile homes are tornado magnets. True for here in Florida too. But do move it inside. Might help hold down the mobile home in case of a tornado.

    i got it from aquabid.. acrylic breeding surface.. $7 plus $5 shipping. it was kind of cool.. so i just picked it up.. for sh*ts and giggles

    man, the more i look at the tank.. I REALLY LIKE THE SIZE and COLOR!! grow outs look great and are much more active today!! i will have to really keep this tank clean to keep it looking pretty

    75 is a great size. Not too big or too small. Two man lift and easy to get into and out of.

    i have 2 but a friend will be taking the unpainted one.. i still have another.. the one i just took down.. it would be just tank.. its painted very light yellow on back and white bottom..

    I was wondering about the green thing too but figured the same thing...

    Yep, I have two 75s and I like their size. I kind of want a 90G or a 110G (high) though for my planted tank since some of those plants can get some height on them and they can use the same stands and hoods.
