    Default Virus

HI wanted to ask if anybody has been having an issue with a Virus, my two computers got infected two days ago, first one then the next day the second.

The only thing in common is that I had this website open on both of them and I think I remember an issue with a virus a while ago.

the virus is called total security, it's a trojan that changes your system registry to always open a warning similar to windows antivirus and giving you false indications that a virus is in your system when in fact itself is the virus, it will open an executable qqi.exe or hlm.exe.

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had the issue lately.

Not possible on our end... having the forum open can't spread a virus, and we aren't using a windows based server here.

OK, so I wonder where I'm getting it, I didn't think I could get it from just being in the forum.

    Thanks for your time

I already fix my pc's. Had to manually delete the entries from the system registry, plus delete a temp folder and some entries in the app data folder, but wanted to try and track it so I'm just eliminating variables, thanks/
