    Assuming water has gone thru the cycle, are you ready then to add the fish or do you want to make another water change, making sure your filters etc are truly ready? Testing again. Maybe that is just redundancy??

    When you see the nitrites drop to zero, there will then be a corresponding nitrate spike. When it spikes, do the huge WC and then you are ready to drop in the fish. If you wait too long to add fish the bacteria are going to start dying off from lack of food and then you'll be back at the beginning again. Which sucks, and I know cuz I've done it myself many years ago.
