I'm not positive of this, but I don't think we can ship back and forth accross the US/Canada border without a huge customs hoop..If I'm wrong, someone point it out to me, as there are Canadian importers I'd like to recieve wilds from....

    Gary,

Your retired and soon to be shipless. Maybe you can drive them over the boarder in your spare time. Seriously I don't know the regulations but my guess is it will be a pain if at all possible.

Gary, much easier to receive from Canada than to ship to Canada. When I got my wilds from Oliver Lucanus I had to get an import permit thru US Fish and Wildlife. Then you have to find out your closest international approved port of entry and contact them to set up customs inspection. It's not worth the cost and trouble for one box of fish, but if getting several then the costs and time involved becomes more manageable.

The permit's a piece of cake here in SD, as I checked into it before..fifty bucks to the state..Minneapolis is closest inspection point....Haven't moved on it, maybe, maybe not..

    James--
Unfortunately I came upon your thread a few months too late. I'm in the Twin Cities and am looking to buy from a local breeder. Please add me to your list when you have more Tefe Greens, but I'd also be interesred in other varieties you may have. Thanks,

    -Dave

I have split this pair and am working on F1's back with parents. So it may be a while for Tefe. I do have some very nice Heckel crosses for sale. They are posted under Hobbyist Breeders. They are 5" fish. Here is the link http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showth...ry-4-quot-plus.

Thanks, Sorry this is an old thread. I sold all the fry several months ago. I am trying to cross F1's back to the parents right now so this pair has been split up. I may have more in a few months. I am also working on Emerald Greens and also raising F1's from a Heckel cross.

    Thanks,

    Jim
