I picked up a few more rams at petsmart yesterday for 599 each!!! Cheapest around me by far so I have a total of seven now. What would you consider the first signs of a pair? I have two that defend one corner and all but not consistently. Should I try putting them in seperate tank or after they actually have eggs

I believe I got very lucky ) walked in to look for tds meter and my fiance says look don't you have this? I look over and they have a little tank with about 8-10 with a tag saying NEW. The girl said they had only got them two days before so I bought all the females

Nice, I kinda wanted something that would go better biotope related but just couldn't get rid of the color!!! I don't think lfs even carries the gold rams. I've seen a few other rams that were larger but never saw any names

My oldest and first ram is doing bad this morning. He wasn't moving and I almost syphoned him up. His forehead is really red. His lips are red and white and really beatup. Fighting for ladies too much??

Mine just proved that they aren't smart..they swam the whole batch over to the corner where all of the Discus and Rams are pigeon-holed...got half of 'em gobbled right up..so much for helping them along.....

would a 20g be ok to move a pair of rams for possible breeding? is that big enough..

I've got a pair or two in a twenty....starting out with Rams works best with trio's...2 males and a female...that's the best way to buy/sell them also...
