New Fishroom on the Northern Plains

Well, I've sold our pirate ship, so I'll be able to construct a new fishroom later this fall...A little early, but I'll post photo's all along the way....Gary

Thanks gang...just starting to crunch numbers on concrete, windows,etc....And, of course, I still have to manage the downrigging/uprigging of the ship to finish off the sale...That'll be in Portland, OR in mid Sept...

I figuered I should shoot a 'before' photo of where we'll be constructing the new fishroom next month.....Here's a photo today



The exsisting wall with the ladder against it (from taking roof measurements, it's getting replaced first!) is east, the one with plastic over the double door is north. Those walls stay...west wall will continue out from edge of greenhouse addition, and south wall will extend almost to the east garage wall...Room will be a retangle with a return leg (L-shaped; the reject barrel and tote are in the 'L')...Main room is 16'X20', with the 'L' being another 8'X15'....That's a new 440 sq. ft. of tank space.....

Hey Gary,cant help myself.Those tarps on the roof?We can't go on a roof if tarped.When I see the Simpson's opening,all I can see is where I'd put the ladder,how'd I 'd back in,and where'd we would put the shingles.Metal roof to the back?Sounding like a stalker.

Nope, blue asphalt tile....replacing with blue steel as the garage to the south...no tarps up north here..too much wind....
