How many to buy
I have a 55 gallon that am looking to stock with discus. I am going to buy from Hans but need some advice. Should I get six 3 inch discus or five 4 inch discus? I have to stay within budget but also want the biggest fish I can afford as they are easier to care for. What do you all think?

[QUOTE=seanbuehrle;793111]The five four
+ 1
1" at 3-4 inches makes a big difference in feeding/wc schedule.

5 at 4".. they will have had most of the growth that a NEWBIE can SCREW UP all ready done..
basically you will be at least a month ahead thru the most critical parts of the growing out the juvies.. they are still young.. but much stronger and acceptable of NEWBIE mistakes

Yes, as Sean & Skip have said - go for the extra one - you won't be unhappy you did.
