John, where can you get totes that size?..I have several, but they are 250 to the mark, 275 to the cap...just curious, as I'd go for larger....Gary
Has anyone ever tried or seen anyone use a 325 gallon tote for a fish tank mostly thinking about using it as a growout tank . Seems like it would be easy cut the top off and make a hood for it attach your cleaning tools to PVC pipe so you you can get way down there and Insulate the heck out of it . Just wondering if anyone ever thought about it and what would be the cons about it . Thank you John

Craigslist here that's the size everyone is selling anywhere from 60 to 100 dollars .
Where's 'here'?..All the craigslist postings around me (Minneapolis, Fargo, Omaha,Sioux Falls) only have the size I've purchased...I'd sure like a bigger one!

Albemarle NC it's the Charlotte NC Craigslist
Should work fine. I've kept fish in Rubbermaid stock tanks, but the problem with those is that the whole tank is black. If you don't put sand in the bottom, it's hard to see the fish.

As Darrell said, it'll probably work fine..it's a food grade one,eh?...I commercially raised a lot of mollies, swords, etc. in a string of matching bathtubs...couldn't pass up the slope and the drains....keep us posted on how it works out....
