The best place on the planet is Tampa bay saltwater. I doubt you'll find a bad review and the prices rock:$
It's aquacultered so no stripping reefs or anything like that.
I got some some years back and was astonished at the life on it.
You won't find a better deal.

stupid question but what is live rock? Is it like the eco bio stones?
thanks
Maria
It's rock from the ocean, most of the time made from calcium carbonate, or dead coral skeletons .
It harbors marine organisms responsible for denitrification, it's used in the same manner as a sponge filter is used in freshwater to remove waste.
It's a must have for reef tanks.
Ah thanks - so can you use it in freshwater with discus or not being as its calcium carbonate I assume not?
Marco Rock...nothing better and 100% past free. Marc is also a great guy that supports the hobby and the industry 100%

I bought pukani and some shelf rock from BRS. Dry rock is the way to go, no pests, way cheaper. A couple months in the tank and you cant tell the difference.
IN Victoria pet stores sell live rock for $ 4.00 - $7.00 per a pound. some live rocks are nice.
Delaware $7.99 per pound. I was into saltwater 4 a while. The rock they have is pretty nice. LFS is your best bet - shipping is crazy 4 live rock.

Reef cleaners is a great place to get dry rock. Its very nice looking, just seed it with a small piece of LR.
