It has been two weeks today that I received these guys from Mark. They are doing great. We are getting use to each other and they have gotten comfortable as a group. I added two small pieces of DW to help cut the aggression and it seems to help. I was lazy about putting the plastic piece on the back of the glass lid and paid for that when one of the larger ones jump out the backside of the tank I kicked myself pretty hard when I found it on the floor. Little guy was 3.5 inches long .
I'm feeding Kens flake, my seafood mix and live blackworms. They by far prefer the blackworms and when I go to work I load them up on the worms and flake. The tank is clean (except for poops) when I return home.
In the first picture the one in the front is developing some interesting color.

Interesting observation with the drift wood... Mine get pretty mean during feeding time. And sorry about your jumper =(
Thanks Matt, it doesn't eliminate the aggression only seems to help reduce it to some extent. Really s**ks on losing the one fish. These fish are not replaceable.

Hi,Pat sorry to hear about losing one of your fish. I really like how your's are developing are these fro Mark's first batch or second batch. Can you remember when they hatched out, I'll have to ask Mark again if you don't remember, I like to keep reference for growth now. Jim in Ohio
Wow def sorry to hear about the jumper...that's too bad it was a nice one.
Jim I dont remember the exact date, but these are from the second spawn and hatch date would be around end of May.
Mark
Very nice Pat, sorry to hear about that one but they do look very very good
Thanks Jim, I like how they are developing too. Nice and stocky. I guess Mark answered your question. I originally were going to get a group from the first spawn but Mark offered to let me get my group from the second batch as my discus house was unhealthy at the time. Thanks again for making that offer Mark.
Mark, only myself to blame the leaving the top partly open
Thanks Zach

So is it possible for these guys to grow a 1/2 inch in three weeks? I base lined the largest one and one of the smallest ones against the tape measure and these guys have grown about a 1/2 inch.
