Are you talking about freshwater stingrays...? Can you post a picture? Did you get it at a local fish store? Chances are it's known as a "Teacup Stingray" and will do fine with discus provided your aquarium is setup properly for it.
Anyone have experience with this species: "Potamogeton spp."? It is currently in quarantine.

Think some FW rays have been successfully kept together with discus, I know of a tank photo with both over on Monsterfishkeepers of a huge river type tank. Forgot which member name but it was so many gallonages.

I've tried this plant a long time ago and it did fine with in a discus tank.
