Default looking for a new variety of blue ram

Two years ago I was at a lfs in MN called World of Fish. I saw a Blue Ram that looked like it had a shorter thicker body and longer fins. the person working said it was a new breed that was just being released and the breeder was only releasing females until they recieved recognition for the breed. I have looked online but can't seem to find them. I think she called it a angel blue ram or something. sorry I don't have any more info, but if anyone has any idea what I am talking about please let me know.
    thanks,
    lane

I have German Blues. I have seen on AB an Electric Blue or Powder Blue, very pretty, but I think they're the same.
Joe Gargas has some that he calls Gold/Powder Blue. They are very pretty.

It does look like a balloon. I found it, but none available. a friend was talking about getting back into aquariums, but he isn't ready for discus so I was suggesting rams, and I remembered those cool (funny) looking rams.

Yup. Saw these at my LFS the other day. Kinda cute. Wonder if they can do a long finned version but with the normal body shape? Makes an amazing difference imo. I was considering buying an Tiger Oscar but as I was researching them I came across a Long Finned version. AMAZING! Back to the Rams, I went to the LFS to get an Electric Blue Ram but they were sold out :-(

The veil or long fin blue ram is getting hard to get these days, the trend now is electric blue, and balloms type. as well as the standard blue ram. at least is how the market is behaving here in Hawaii, which ussually is like the first stop from Asia to the US.
