I have always preferred the wilds and have wanted F1's for a while now. Do you have any pictures? How old are they? Where are their parents from?
In fear of hijacking your thread, I will tell you my story on my new thread as soon as I prepare it.

Pat, the tank looks great and the Tefe's look even better. You have done a great job. What size tank will the new ones be going in?

Larry, for now the new ones will go into the 100 (60x18x24). Once the juvies are grown out and added to the group I may need to switch tanks between the groups or get another big tank (don't tell hubby yet )

jlcoop277, here's the background I used http://www.designsbynature.net/produ.../slimline-bgs/ item BJ27WA second from the far right on the page. It was tall enough for this tank.

Darrell, Tom is a house husband these days and he is in no rush for anything...job search is disappointing at best. We'll get there

I feel for Tom. It can be very discouraging searching for a job these days for us middle aged guys. I haven't worked 40 hours in going on 3 years myself, and hardly any for the past few months.

Yea, Tom getting laid off two years ago put a huge dent in my retirement plan but we have been holding together. He does get a pension so that really helps. When NASA laid off all their workers the local job market totally died. Maybe we should move to NC

Who knows Darrell, could be possible in the future if the housing market even vaguely recovers.

Hey Pat, just read this and I have to reply that we here in NC would love to have you here. NC is a beautiful state, Darrell lives in the mountains and I live by the ocean. And everything in between is great! Let us know if you need some NC info!
