If you ever find yourself needing more gorwout space, hit craigslists and pick up an intex collaspable pool, I have one that is 600 gallons and makes a great emergency pond.

Good idea i have thought about using them just wondered how sturdy they would be when you were changing the water and such?

The ones the use the metal poles for support are perfectly sturdy. Dont use the inflatable ones......

Thank you for the tip i will be looking for one of these soon. We have had a unexpected development in so of the fry. I would guess that around 10% are starting to have telescoping eyes! I have a few pics the first is of a telescoping single tail. I kept 8 single tails to see if any grew a wen was totally stunned when i seen one with telescoping eyes. The second pic is of a regular eyed fry next to one that is starting to telescope.
