hospital size for how many? i would assume somewhere between 20g or larger would be sufficient .
Can anyone tell me what is a reasonable size for a hospital tank? Is 10g way too small or not? I am looking at getting a 40L which is just over 10 gallons, as a hospital tank but want to check its not too small.
I have an 80 L tank which is 21G - is that a good size for QT
Thanks

well hopefully just one but you never know, I have treated for tapeworms and a mild case of HITH in my display tank and it wasn't easy, as I have since read there are too many variables working against you.

I prefer 29's, 10 is too small IMO (what if you have more than one fish?), 20 is ok.
I would get a 20 long from walmart
most meds are in increments of 5.. X amount of Med to 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 gallons..
PLUS .. the larger the tank.. more expensive to treat the WHOLE tank..

You can always lower the water level in a larger tank, try raising the water level in a smaller tank oncemost meds are in increments of 5.. X amount of Med to 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 gallons..

Lets not even go thereI've done it more than once, bet you have too.
I nearly flooded the house and electrocuted the fish and my household Sunday before last, glad to see you more experienced hands have also let your tanks overflow.
