1/2 lb. of live CBW and 7 - 4.5" Discus

I am thinking about ordering a 1/2lb. of live CBWs. About how long can I expect them to last? I'll be feeding them twice a day with the live CBW and twice a day with beefheart flake food. Nothing eles in the tank right now.

if you order a worm keeper with them and rinse them off daily(with chilled tank water or aged water) they can last for a couple of weeks after that they start dying off..............................................J osie

Possibly 7 days depending on how heavily you feed. I tend to NOT overfeed live worms for the simple fact that they will gorge themselves and can over eat.

With rinsing once a day with the worm keepers I've had them last +3 weeks.I also had mini fridge set around 35-38.

feeding twice a day for 7 with 1/2 a pound i think that would last you about 14+ days.
i used to feed my 8 large discus 1 lb a month without much of the worms dying.

Well, I chickened out and just got freeze dried instead. I guess I'm gonna have to look in to building something better to keep them in. I just didn't want to have to deal with cleaning a bunch of worms every day. Freeze dried are just too easy to use.
