cant put people who are homesteaders on ignore list

Well, I'll say this; since I've been a member here I have stepped on some toes (an understatement), and vise versa. Best thing to do is swallow hard and keep going. Sometimes I have to go for a cold one and relax before I come back. Try to be as calm and as polite as possible.

As Josie said, and I agree with her, PM each other, exchange phone numbers and let it all hang out. Let AT&T deal with it. I have in the past PM people and apologize to them whether I think I'm right or wrong. Civility must prevail. We must put aside childish comments and/or behavior.

Finally, SD is not for the faint of heart.

Al if you think back you will realize that once upon a time I came up with a pretty successful solution to all of the BS on another forum. I know it is not exactly what you would like but it sure made life easier on me.

I hear you and I know what you mean..Thanks for the suggestion...but I don't really want that here. Worked good for you and the kind of forum you ran. But this is my forum and I have a model I want to see in place that I feel works best for this community.

Guess it comes down to my being Stubborn. I'm a bull headed Taurus and I'm stuck on the principle that I shouldn't have change this forum to accommodate a handful of people that want to be able to do as they please without regard for other and rules... The majority of people here are just fine with the rules and way we do things. The forum's rules are clear and its been like this 10 years...Its not like this is anything new. People agree to a certain set of rules when they register . Mods and Admins define when a behavior is unacceptable according to those rules.... Its really a Simple system...and the Solution to the recent BS is too...I've just been way too easy going to do it....but thats history. I'm tired of people causing issues here for the 99% of members that follow the rules and among themselves.

A word of advice to those individuals...do yourselves a favor....don't push me. You won't like the result.

If I put someone on the ignore list but they post on my thread, I cannnot see it correct?

Everybody has something important to say that we might learn something from, no matter how much we don't like them.

Heck, I answer the phone for my in-laws, and even listen to their @#$%&. And I have learned to control my temper and hold on to my patience with them.
