This was an experiment to see if the blue "pepper" of the mercury female (pb) would tranfer as blue when crossed with a non-pigeon blood.

I am going to wait to see how they develope but I am sure I will try something. The real "plan" seeing how this experiment was a success, is to cross the mercury with the albino san marah x snow white f1's when they mature.
What I am shooting for is to retain the red coloration that exist mainly below the lateral line on the pictured fish and by crossing it with a mercury or the mercury/ARSG cross, hopefully superimposing the blue "pepper" onto the fish above the lateral line. Kind of like a poor mans tri-color dicus.

Not quite sure how to answer that.......not really a pattern per say, more like a white based fish with blue pepper.
in the early pics ur fish had a pattern i was thinking the cross would have made the pattern stay instead of fading away to a solid.i wasnt sure if a merc was a strain but i guess just a variety of a white pb
