sorry to hear Keith.
Our friend Keith lost his best male Blue Diamond yesterday. Once this kind friend did an act of kindness for me and now I would like to return the favor.
Keith if you like, I will offer you one of my male Altum Flora's. He is a good size fish, if you have any interest. He is almost 2 years old come March.
If not I am sure we can find you another male Blue Diamond.
Again, sorry to hear about your loss.

Jennie,
Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten
LOL, to say he was my best male is a bit of a stretch, though he did make a nice avatar pic. He was a pretty good parent and I loved to watch him try to chase my wife away from the tank, especially when she was still 15 feet away from his babies, but he was far from a show winner. I've got some really nice F1s from him that are much better fish than he was that should all be pairing off at any time, in fact one pair is already working on it. I'm really more interested in continuing the line than going a different direction, but thanks much for the offer. Besides that, I'm already thinking about how to arrange fish to bring some of "my" F2 RTs Jay has into the fishcave to work on that line, so adding another adult fish just isn't in the cards right now. Don't forget me if the Eruptions ever get it right though.
Probably a good time to say thanks to those I reached out to for help too. I'd start naming names, but I'd surely end up missing one and then feel bad. There was pretty much general consensus on course of treatment, but the fish just never responded much. Guess I've come to the conclusion I just couldn't expect to go forever without losing one, hopefully it's even longer to the next one.

BUMMER!
The meek shall inherit the earth. The oceans are for the brave.
The fish was at the point yesterday morning that I figured I should probably cull it when I got home from work, so coming home to find it dead was actually a bit of a relief. Did break out a bottle of wine though...strictly for medicinal purposes.

Jeff, great gesture on offering one of your male's to Keith but understand Keith's desire to continue with his RT line. That say I have offered Keith a microscope before Christmas and I totally fell on my sword shipping it to him. Is this is my public lashing with a wet noodle to get it shipped out this week.
Keith, again sorry about your BD

Watched his off-spring spawn tonight, sort of. She's laying and it's eating them as fast as she lays them again.

Keith, so "it" is not trying to do anything except eat the eggs Teenagers...sigh
