what kind of worms do you guys think these are?
I have a group of new juveniles that I purchased about two months ago and they have been in a quarantine tank. I just treated with prazi as a precaution before I move them around they are all eating and look fine but this is what I found this morning..............
what kind of worms do you guys think these are?
Tapeworms. Cestodes are the only internal worms prazi is effective in killing.
Mat
That looks painful
Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
I think I would be tempted to treat all my tanks with prazi under those circumstances.
Those are some nice looking juvies......Hard to believe they are harboring such nasties.

Josie,
Be sure to retreat those guys again in a few weeks...just in case you missed some tapeworms.

I just want everyone to know that the juv where showing no signs of any illness this is just what I found after a routine deworming........these little buggers can hide and not show up until treated...............
