Default My Brother's 750 Gallon Freshwater Ray Pond Is Complete Lots Of Pics!!!!

My brother finally completed his ray pond some of you may know him on MFK his username is Fish Dog and he has been keeping rays for 5+ years now. I supplied the 2 gallon heater and made the control box for him to control his heater, lights, and pumps.

Just another reason for me to visit KY!!

Man those rays are pretty. Do you know how big they will get? Also, has he been successful with the breeding pair or are they proven?

    Thanks for sharing.

Ah Jen, better to have both involved, then when I say I need something, my wife would understand why and not yell at me for spending money, Lol.

I am not sure how big they will get I know they flower rays can get very big. I am sure he knows I can ask and find out. Yes the breeding pair of Jag rays are proven he has had 3 litters of pups so far and hoping for more.

Sean, your bother's build is very cool. It's more like a space capsule then a pond per say. Is the reason for the lid to retain warmth? Those rays are awesome. What is the fish in with the rays?

    Hi Pat,

Yes the lids are to help hold in the heat since it is out in his garage. The last pond he had in his garage was open top and he had a lot of problems with condensation during the winter months. He did have some I believe they were called Siamese Tiger Datnoids in there but he just sold all them this past week.

Lets see, reason number 3 to come visit Sean in KY

    1) BBQ (no offense but food first, fish later)
    2) See Sean's discus
    3) See Sean's brothers rays.

Thats a good weekend right there.
