Does anyone have any tips for getting them to stick to the window for more than five seconds?
I am new to discus 2 years now, have always fed a mix of hikari frozen bloodworms, homemade beefheart mix, and tetra bits. I recently ordered 2 bags of freeze dried blackworms with spinach and my discus love it. 5 Adults, 20x 1.5"-2", and my 6x 3" after 2 weeks of new food my discus attack my hands looking for fdbw's when doing water changes. Fish seem more active as well.
Just thought I'd share my experience with new feed.
Might have to stop feeding them fdbw discus are making water changes more challenging now that they attack my hand. Lol

Are you guys talking about cubed?
Gosh, how timely of a thread. I just fed my first "Al's FDBW" and my fish have never gone so nuts and so quickly to and other food before. Only problem is, I'm bad with measurements and I now see that 10oz was too little :-)
And easier way to feed FDBWs is to use a feeding cone and turn it upside down and then putting in the cubes. It even works for loose FDBWs.
Pat you are referring to basically squeezing the cube before you stick it on the glass right
Sort of Julie, I actually place the cube against the glass and then press on it rather hard to squeeze some of the air out which helps it to stick to the glass.
Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
Gotcha.......thank you Pat for clarifying
