Default How many discus does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Answer: 9. At least in my house. When I ordered my fdbw, there was a note saying you could attach a cube to the glass so I tried it. This is what happened- big bully pb stood gaurd over the cube and chased everyone away from it, pb's pal ss gaurded its flank and kept any daredevils away. Pb was so concerned with gaurding it, pb.didnt get 1 bite! I even tried sinking more in, nobody noticed they all just squabbled over the one on the glass. So back to hand feeding every time! Geez! Thank God they're pretty!

Try using a worm cone feeder, put it below water level and turn upside down.Let the cube to float into it,more access for the fish.

What I do is use two cones spread apart.Depending on how many fish you have, you can cut the cube with scissors.I would put 1 cube in one and a 1/2 in the other cone. It's a 150,so easy to spread out.

I've had a discus rip the cube off and have it float around, for me the cones work better by keeping it in one place.Mind you this is in my one planted tank. With frogbit. In a bb I wouldnt care as much.

I actually prefer them to spread and sink...gives my rams a chance to eat :-)
