I think I like them even more now when I saw the last pics.
I still think they are absolutely beautiful

any advice I give is just that, advice. I say it because it's what works for me.
Marc, great wilds and setup. It looks as if some of them still need to adapt and eat more, but very nice group otherwise.
Josie, do you have a source to back up that statement? The building of electric dams is a real threat to wild discus. However, I have never seen any scientific evidence showing that discus numbers are dwindling, much less that there is overfishing.
Nice Set up Marc. Looks very natural.
Thanks all.
@DiscusBR:It is true that certain fisher have to become thicker.I bought them half a year ago and then they were really skinny because they were kept with big rays and they were fed with too big and wrong food for the rays.I bought 12 and 3 died. That was obvious if you had seen the fishes before. My goal is to get them bigger and if you see them now they are twice as thick as when I bought them.
...and let's not forget massive clear cutting of rain forest, and strip mining as well. These are the real threats of discus. Discus are not fished for food, so are not over fished. You are correct Mauro, the over fishing statement is hardly valid, but you'll never get Josie to debate, or back this statement up sadly.

Very very nice looking wilds. Great looking group.
love it
they are very very nice ....
Thanks all forthe compliments.
This week I bought another camera. You can see the fishes much better now. Also that the water is not really clear unfortunately. But in the wild it is often worse than this.I started with a video.More photos will come later.
Marc, great video. Like the tank, the fish and the music It ended to quickly, I wasn't done watching it.
Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
Great video. You got a great setup and beautiful wilds. Can't wait to see them when they fully adapt.
@Second Hand Pat:It was my first video with this new camera.Uploading takes a lot of time.I think because of the better quality.I will make tonite again a few pictures and maybe a video. You will see soon Pat.
@DiscusBR:I can"t wait also to see them fully adapted. But as you know they have been with big rays. Some of them had rather big eyes compared to the body.I thought they would stop growing but it is great to see that their bodies grow bigger and bigger. This is what I never expected.
NICE ,, Love it all = )
Thnx all for the compliments.
Especially for Pat the extended version of my discusfish.
Also some new photos. Here a start:
