    Also, which one is the best one to get? loose or cubed? thank you

    when is a loose preferable to cubed? is it just subjective choice? thanks again

    dude.. get to small $10 bags cube and loose and see which your fish like.. then buy more of that one..

    i have used both..

    i prefer the cubes.. cuz i stick them to the glass..

    I use both here... and as for other kinds of fish that they are suitable for....

    Angels, Severums,port cichlids,geophagus,flag cichlids, festivums,tetras, platies, swordfish,bettas, guppies,dwarf puffers, etc, etc...... basically many different kinds.

    If your tank has overflows, I think cubes are easier. I prefer cubes over loose in general.

    I prefer cubes. My sample came with both so I tried them both. I can hand feed, stick to the side, or break them up into smaller chunks and let them graze easily. I have bolivian rams, tetras corydora, and bristlenose plecos in addition to discus and the all love them, even the plecos so you can add them to your list Al!! My discus love them so much they play tug-o-war with them. The only problem I have with them is if I run out, a couple discus go on hunger strike. Solution...keep an extra bag on-hand!!!
