Thanks everyone.I told my wife that this was going to be "the Year of The Yard",meaning we were going to enjoy it this summer, not work on it.So then we go and put in a patio. No,I didn't lay the brickwork, were had a professional do it.As to the video it was on a friends timeline,Ill see if I can find it.

Wow...it's really filled in nicely Bill and now looks nowhere near man-made. The aquatic life in your pond is alive and thriving. It's to bad winters spoil all the fun but should still have a couple months yet.

It looks wonderful! You must spend lots of good times out there. Will the fry and Black Moors take the winter up there? I know the koi and goldfish will be fine. I miss my old pond, even more now that I see yours. Maybe next summer I will build a much smaller version of yours Thanks for the good pics and update.

Thanks guys.Yes,we spend a lot of time out there.Cant get a definite answer on the black moors, but I have a regular fantail that has gone thru 2 winters. The fry probably wont make it,and I pretty sure its endler fry,I threw some in this spring.I try to drain and give a good cleaning in the fall,so I may try and net some as I clean.

It's the little things I'm enjoying now about the pond. Now that it's settling in vines are creeping and moss is growing.
