Thanks Josie, but I really think you are doing an awesome job with your fish as what I have seen they are all beautiful. I'm also learning as I go and I value all the info that we get in this forum and you are right you do have to filter out the BS and go with your gut.

Hi Josie, here is a link to my album on photobucket of when I started to now. We are going to start doing the plumbing today, but I think I'm going to use the sponge filter in most of the tank, I'm quite sure I going to use the sump except for taking water out unless I can come with an easy way of doing it all without so many pipes. Unfortunately I'm not a plumber

Well Josie we came up with a system that will do water changes and do the filtration system. I have to give all the credit to my son for his idea.

sorry to bring this back up, what did you end up coming up with Josie? does anyone know where to get those tanks like mark has for a reasonable price? Mark if you see this did you drill your own tanks?
Chris
how do you tell if the sides are tempered or not i know most tanks have a sticker on the glass that says tempered. i didnt know that the sides were not tempered. How does someone like Marks setup do water changes?
