    Hi Jen, I see you're from Knoxville as well. Do you plan on selling any of your discus after they grow out? I've been looking for a local breeder.

    Well this morning I have eggs...may be infertile I suspect she laid overnight. Funny thing- its my daughters chore to do the a.m. feeding & turn the lights on and she didnt notice. I was sitting on the couch and thought it looked like they were fanning the cone. Sure enough they were

    My wife has been wanting discus for years (at least 9 years that I know of). We did freshwater tanks for years, then I went the reef route for a while and have decided to try a large freshwater tank again. This time around it will be a discus tank. I'd love to pick your brain sometime, since your close. Perhaps I'll have a cycled tank when you have some fry ready to sell.

    I am hoping you will decide to pick out six to eight and raise them out yourself. That is the only way I can see to find out how these fry grow and develop. Customers will enjoy seeing how small fish they buy can develop with good care too.
