    Talking Royal Blue F4s

Here's my new babies, very small but strong. I do things differently than many recommend. 30 minutes after drop and plop, they are feeding on Tetra Discus Breeder pellets.

Its an acclimation method, drop and plop, plop and drop....basically float the bags to get the temperature to match and then scoop the fish out and drop them in the tank. The reason I can do that, is because the breeder keeps his PH under 7 and my PH is 8. Higher is cool, lower is NOT cool for the drop and plop method.

Hey Eddie, maybe I missed it in another thread, so these are F4 from Wild Royal Blues? Are there some pictures of the parents, would love to see them. Where did they come from? Can't wait to see them progress. Very nice to have you back in the discus keeper world!!

Yes Larry, wild royal blue f4s. The importer in Madrid actually recieved them from Malaysia. I will find out from who and see if I can get pictures. Glad to be back!

Very nice Eddie! Looking forward to seeing them grow. I suspect the seafood to make seafood mixes over there isn't quite as good as Japan huh? lol Can't feed the fish any high class tuna or anything?

LOL, very true Matt! Actually, tuna is pretty easy to get here and is common in Barbate Spain.
