There is a really cool store in Burnet that sells these, if you're coming out of aquatek and going to your right on Burnet just before you get to 183 on your right you will see a bunch of businesses there is one of exotic animals, you will love it.

If I had more energy...
Someone at my office keeps some frogs
Mint carabella or something is his favorite
He cites a complaint that most poison dart frogs are too small to eat crickets, except for the mint carabella
He recommends that species. Otherwise, you get to have the fun of raising fruit flies for food
He just started a big tank build and is threatening to put discus under them in a tall tank (some of my culls)
I think it could be a neat idea with a little drip line, live plants, etc
I have a poison dart frog setup - with both species pictured above and 2 more D. auratus, actually 4 now, had babies :-) - totally love it and their calls are quiet and pretty :-).
I got them from "www.saurian.net" (same as the picture of the leucomelas) - can recommend the quality stock and expert advice you get there!
Maintenance is way less than what I do for the discus - just need to have your fruit fly supply coming and can't slack on subculturing.

They are pretty. There's lots of good videos of them on youtube.

I have a 30g (Zoo Med) with waterfall in the back, small pond in the middle, custom made side panels (tree fern, bark, Great Stuff) and bunch of plants. Got 4 frogs which is the maximum if mixing species. Somehow I got lucky and they all get along (and someone is breeding, not sure which, just know one of them is a D. auratus). Oh, they two you picked above, are my favorites and the most outgoing (you see them alot). Trying to dig up and post some pics.
