They will turn yellow discus orange and it will effect the blues as well .
I know Tetra bits enhances red colors in discus. However, will the product have a negative effect on the colors of blue and yellow?
Thanks

Thanks, most appreciated.
Turned my AMG to orange.
Another option to the color bits is the Repashy Super Pig. This powder also brings out the yellow and red colors.
Just mix it into your beef heart mix and you get the same effect.
I feed these to my 4 virgin reds and 2 blue SS/Scorp and I think the reds look more red (but it is hard to tell) but the blue x's have red striations that seem more pronounced now. From a distance where I cannot see the individual striations the discus look blue/purple where as before from a distance they looked more like a blue diamond. I don't mind though. hth

I just found out via Rod and Bob that Sera has a pellet out for blue fish. Check out Sera Discus Color Blue.

Not sure, haven't tried them yet. I've got a can in the mail to me as we speak, though I don't really have any good test subjects for your question. This product is new to me lol, I'm going to be trying it on blue fish.

Oh that would be SO cool for my blue discus! If only they'd eat pellets...hmmmmm, I currently feed tetra color crisps to the entire tank so that my ONE marlboro red stays orange (poor girl gets washed out easily).
Soooo, if I'm gonna convince my blue guys to eat the pellets to turn them vibrant shades of blue, how do I keep my orange fish away from those pellets and keep the blue guys away from the orange food?
Gives me a headache just thinking about it. Guess I'll just continue to let the blue guys chomp on the orange food. So far they haven't turned brown. LOL

120g - 10 discus, 4 cory's, 50+ Cardinals for now... give it a month and it'll change!
Not sure if you guys in the states have access to JBL products, but if you do try the NovoBits or GranaDiscus. Mine eat them very well and they don't seem to be loaded with color enhancing stuff.
