Hi Larry,
Thanks for posting. I've been looking for a good picture of a Stendker Tefe. Any plans with using it in your breeding plans? The others are really nice too.
Steve
I was fortunate to bring home 3 of the Stendker Show Discus. Red Turq, Red SS and a Flachen SS. The Red Turq is in with a Stendker Tefe and the Red SS is in with a Stendker Red Turq. I will have to get some pics of the Flachen later.

Grats on the pickup Larry. You are the one that got that flachen ss? A really pretty fish I thought.

Thanks Trish. I'm very happy with it.
Most of the Flachen's I have seen are clearly green but this guy is more blue/viloet. My plan is to try and pair him off with a really pretty Cobalt I have.
Thanks Rick. This tefe wasn't one of the two Show fish. I bought 3 of the Show fish - Red Turq, Red SS and Flachen SS. The Tefe and the smaller Turq in the pictures above came directly from Hans. I'm pretty sure the Show Red Turq and Show Red SS are both males and the Tefe and other Turq I got directly from Hans are hopefully females. Well, I now know the smaller Red Turq is female because she is on eggs this morning. I was going to get one of the Show Tefe's but Josie really wanted one of them so I got the Red Turq instead. I'm very interested to see if the one you got turns out to be male or female. With all the experts at the Show I got mixed guesses. If it had been clearly a male, I would have wanted it, lol.

I will let you know, I plan I pairing the tefe with a proven female that has been laying every week. Funny thing is, me getting this Tefe was a mistake, I was suprised to see it when I opened the box from Chad, I had actually picked three other show fish but the numbers got mixed up when Hans editted his pictures on facebook.I'm very interested to see if the one you got turns out to be male or female. With all the experts at the Show I got mixed guesses. If it had been clearly a male, I would have wanted it, lol.
Yeah, that Flachen was my favorite. Not the biggest in the show by any means, but beautiful form, coloration, markings. If you ever want to move that fish, Larry, just let me know.
