Default Rancho Temperture Controller & Sera Heater

    Hi SD members,

I just want to share my experience with the Rancho Temperture Controller & Sera Heater.

Lately I've had some issues with a Jager heater problem. For the past 1 week as I can remember, every day the Jager would get stuck at least once. Through the help of a few SD members, it could be the condensation problem or possibly the heater is faulty (had it for about 1 year). So, I decided to order the Sera heater for the replacement. In addition, for added protection and backup purposes I went ahead and got the Ranco Temperture Controller from Jehmco. I went and installed it today and it couldn't have been easier. The ranco is so easy to setup. It's definitely worth the piece of mind, worth every penny. I set the ranco at 84F and set the sera heater to 89 (max setting).

Thanks to the folks like jimg, discusonly, roclement and LizStreithorst for their help and expertise. Also for the many others who had contribute to this topic through my search of older posts.
