    Default Fish room

There really hasn't been anything going on in the fish room lately been battling with all my filters crashing and my tap tds has gone 120 ppm somehow so I'm trying to figure out how to install this ro unit I recently purchased. So while I was doing WC's tonight I thought I'd take a few pic and show you "fish room". I conquered a corner of the basement to be my fish room. We have an unfinished basement about 800-900 sq ft. I like not having to worry about spillage and the rest of what goes along with fish keeping. As of now I have 2-20's 1-30 1-45 2-55 & 1-90 I have occupants in the 20's ans the 45. The 55 will be used as soon as my pair decides they really want ro be parents and the 90 is cycling eight now and idk if I want to keep the 30 as a sump or what? So here it is.

Stands are homemade. 2-20's on top 55 on bottom.

90 on top 30 on bottom. To the left I made a drain that runs ro the floor drain so I can easily do WC's in the corner. And then to the left of that is my 100g stock tank for aging. It's nothing spectacular by any means but hey it works for me.... For now
    Here's the stubborn couple. Lol

Nice.gotta love unfinished.10 mins before we were leaving for a block party in Chicago, one of my 55's started leaking, filled with fry.Luckily had an empty 40 underneath.Drained water into 40,dropped sponges and heater in,and set the fan on high.

It's a perfect excuse to do some re-aranging.Got two 20's on a 55 stand and it was pointed out to me that its bowing a little in the middle.Step daughter has my old 75 stand, could use the 55 stand.Move 5 20h's sideways where the 75 is,put 75 where the 55 is,and got a line on a 65 to go under the 75.Now if only the fish will cooperate.

Got my central air pump from jehmco on Monday. So tonight I'm setting everything up without glue marking where holes will be and making sure I have enough PVC and connectors. Like usual I have an extra 20 ft of PVC lol I had forgotten to order air hose and the fittings that go into the PVC when I ordered the pump so we are waiting for those to come in Friday. Then it will be glue some drill some and then we'll be good to go

Looks like you're in business Brandon. You'll have to let me know how the central air pump works for you, it's on my wish list.

You wouldn't necessarily have to go through and glue all your connectors. My PVC was tight enough that I didn't have to use glue on my set up. Saved on some of the hassle.

I've got a dapph 30 that I used for about 2 1/2 years before recently putting in a blower. It is a great pump. I pushed about 45 outlets with it. Think it says it can conservatively push about 25. Conservative is correct.

LOL mine gets cleaned about bi weekly with me overflowing the aging tank. I need to rig up a float on my RO unit with a cilinoid to shut the water off going to the unit....If anyone has an idea on where to get the parts for this let me know. I think Jehmco has something like that but i forgot to ask...I really like doing business with them though.....great bunch of people!
