i cannot tell whether you braced the middle of your stand. If so, great. Looking good.
Hello SD people! Love this forum, been lurking for awhile!
Anyways, thought I would start a thread here to share my progress and ideas for my new 120g lightly planted discus setup. This will be an ongoing updated thread, I am doing this on a check-to-check budget, so please bear with me.
Hope I am on the right track! Here is what I have so far:
120 gallon glass 4x2x2 - $120
40 gallon acrylic commercial tank 48x12x15 - $40
DIY stand: nine 8ft 2x4, 140 2.5" deck screws, wood shims - $45
Total investment so far - $205

I am picking up another tank just like my "sump", and will be using it as a BB grow-out tank, I will not be putting juvies in the DT.
I will be using a 1.5" herbie style overflow, the glass hole saw and bulkheads are in the mail.
Thanks for looking, feel free to share criticisms or thoughts!

There are no center supports. The plans I followed did not call for them. You think this will be a problem? I just have 4 legs, and 2 2x4s "V'd" on each corner overlapping the joint.
I actually followed uarujoey's youtube DIY video for this stand.
The Standard AGA aquarium Stand and Canopy for their 120gallon 4X2X2 tank is made with 1" plywood...no 2X4s whatsoever.... and no center support. Your stand looks well constructed.
