Which Snakeskin are you refering to? The orange striated, the solid orange, or the ghost SS? Hard to say how many of the other non-contest fish developed the pattern as I sold most of them at an early age. I do actually have two of each of those in the contest (striated, solid, ghost, and 9 bar). That snakeskin leads the pack. What a terrific fish. Of the other non-contestant fish how many others have similar coloration? In other words, what percentage of the batch had this unique snakeskin pattern?

Well yesterday I made note of the fact I had pairs forming in two of my three contest batches. Today I had eggs in both of these batches (batch 1 and batch 3). here is the proof:
Birth date of these fish was 8/30 which makes them 10 1/2 months old. The brown SS is female, and I am 99% certain the PB SS is male (got a good look at the tubes).

Well maybe the contest should be extended until the eggs hatch and the babies are raised...LOL.
