I have my hands full with the discus I couldn't imagine starting to breed angels.....Josie
I hate to hi jack Tara's thread, but healthy angels offer no thread to discus in the same room. I for one do not think they make great tank mates as the angels tend to be a little too aggressive at feeding time for me. A sick angel is just as dangerous as any other sick fish. Get them from a reliable source and use reasonable caution and you should be fine.

I have nice long fin veil black angels. Recently got some pinnoy blues. Hope to cross the blacks with pinnoys.
i have just absorbed some 1 elses fish room and it came with about 5 breeding pairs of angels and about 5 breeding pairs of betas i am still trying to work out if i should even breed them or just sell them off so i can concentrate on my discus and other various sth americans
and yes sorry for the hijack i just figured this would be the right place to ask questions seeming u guys all have angels that are posting
so final words are if i have good healthy stock it shouldn't be a problem
I have been keeping Altum angels with my Discus for about one year now and have had no ill effects. My Discus have become very aggressive eaters and dominate the angels at feeding time.
Good Luck, Rick
Tara that 1/2 black looks just like mine. You get it from Liz?
