Grats Jeff. Really am happy they worked out for you.
Here is a quick video of the recent pair I picked up from Tara last month. Their first time spawning and so far all is well. Both parents are sharing in the feeding. It looks nice when the fry travel from parent to parent.

Been introducing baby brine shrimp and they did not know what to make of it at first, but now they attack it.

Wow nice pair congrat
Thank you!
I came home from work today and starting my routine water changes when I happen to notice the Carnation fry were almost half of what they originally had. Mind you now they are 2 weeks old and getting big. I started watching the pair when I noticed the male was becoming very defensive of the fry. The female was starting to eat them. The male would not let her get close to the ones attached to his side. But when the fry starting to try and eat of the female, she turned and started eating them, how sad.
I pulled her out and will see how the male does on his own with the 40 or so fry left.
